THE FINAL PROJECT INSTRUCTIONS

Your culminating assignment for this course will be a team project -  a website that will focus on helping families deal with a problem (one that can tremendously impact a family in today's world) in faith-based ways. We'll call it a Digital Magazine, so think of it as a digital space that would give information to a person searching for help that would bolster their faith and resolve when dealing with daily difficulties and challenges. Imagine for a moment the missionary impact that such a magazine could have! Use the help and direction of the Holy Ghost to guide your preparation of this tool.

Semester Timeline Breakdown:

  1. Receive the issue that your team will be working with (week 3).

  2. Write research papers and assignments on this issue throughout the term (weeks 4-9).

  3. Create a team-based website to showcase your research and findings (weeks 5-12).

  4. Draft, Review, and Share your websites (weeks 10-14).

Website Set-up:

You will be asked to create your individual journals on a web-based space (blog or site) to help familiarize yourself with web-writing throughout the semester, so if you are unfamiliar with digitally publishing your thoughts, it's okay, we'll walk you though it so that by the time your group creates the site you will feel comfortable with the process.

Your website can be created on any platform that you and your team are comfortable and familiar with, though we recommend the following as they are easier platforms with a simple drag and drop interface and each one has a free version. Each one has step-by-step guides on how to set up and use.
